Las Vegas got snow

So you probably heard it snowed here in Vegas last week. I took pictures of the morning after.

Some neighbor kids tried to make a snowman.

My scooter, yes I did drive it the day after the snow and it was freezing!

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!!!

Thanksgiving

I was up in Boise for Thanksgiving. Since my Sister-in-law was sick from the pregnancy and my brother was correcting papers I got to play with Caimon. We were mostly stuck in the house because it is so cold, but Friday night we went to Walmart. The whole idea was to wear Caimon out so he would go to sleep quickly. So we played with everything, I let him touch everything, etc. We got to the juice aisle and the addict that he is started yelling ELMO, ELMO, ELMO!!! Apparently there was a juice box with Elmo's picture on it and Caimon went crazy. He would not let me leave until we bought it. Since I am Awesome Aunt Teri I bought it and he had to drink it asap. I also taught him the word chill. He loves watching Elmo on the computer, so when I don't get Corey and Sara's computer up fast enough he starts having a tantrum. It's cute, but I tried to get him to be patient.

Here is a picture of me and Caimon.

We really do have the same color blue eyes :)!

Computers

I have been disconnected from my computer/internet/etc for almost a week. I have a 2003 Dell Inspirion 1100 laptop, which makes it ancient in computer ages. It is on it's last leg. The power cord frayed, and since my computer is old, Dell is the only company I can order my part from.
My Mom reminded me that when I lived in South Africa, 12 years ago, it would take a minimum of 3 weeks to get a letter from the States. So when did I become so ADD and addicted to instant knowledge?

book to movie

I didn't watch BYU get beat by Utah in football because I went to see Twilight with a friend from my ward and her daughter. I was so distracted by the differences from book to movie that I couldn't enjoy it. My cousin Lisa mentions on her facebook page some things that bugged her about the movie, which I totally agree:

* Jasper looked like a deer in the headlights and had horrible hair. They didn't develop his or Alice's characters enough.
*The film flowed well in some points, with great acting, scenery, and music and then would all of a sudden flip abruptly out of context. It was almost like it was flip-flopping between two different directors.

*The screen play added some comedic elements that I was pleasantly surprised by; however, there were parts where Edward and some of the other characters just looked plain silly. In the scene where they meet in Biology class, I imagined him gripping the table and acting stiff, not covering his nose like she just let one. Not sure if it was bad acting or bad direction.
*A few of the special effects were amazing...others involving Edward looked bizarre. Let's face it, they are meant to be bizarre, but not look stupidly bizarre.

I especially agree about Alice and Jasper's characters. Plus I wanted to add my own critique. What is up with the VERY up close, up the nose, camera shots? The camera was WAY to close to their faces in a lot of the movie.
Summit Entertainment just announced that New Moon has been greenlit. I just hope they listen to what the fans have to say about Twilight and fix it for New Moon!

Suggested Readings

So on the suggestion of my cousin Brittney I started to read the Great and Terrible series by Chris Stewart. So now I am suggesting to everyone to read it. But I warn you that you may get totally caught up in the world of the book. There are six books, but I have only read four of them.

p.s. Brittney and Chris Stewart's names are linked, check it out!

Baby

While I was up in Boise I decided to give the new baby a nickname of Steel. It's English and Scottish for hard or durable. Yeah, I know it's weird, but that's the fun of it. So then I added the baby widget on the right. Still don't know if it is a boy or girl.

Halloween

I went trick o' treating with my nephew last night. The cutie wore an Elmo costume. I haven't seen Caimon for a while so I didn't realize he was addicted to Elmo. (Un)fortunately I introduced him to Sesame Street on Hulu. All he wanted to watch was Elmo, I found this hip hop version of the ABC's song with Elmo and friends, Caimon made me push replay about 10 times/four times a day before he went and found his new Elmo toy my parents gave him.

October 22nd Dear Diary

I have had the most bizarre day:

1. The fire hydrant outside my condo exploded. The cap on one of the sides was off and totally leaking water throughout the neighborhood, so no shower today, or doing dishes, etc…

2. I went to the hairdresser and she colored my hair a light brown. I have never been brown,
always blonde. Thanks to Heidi Truter Fourie I learned how to dye my hair. She is the brave one dying her hair red, blonde, brown, I have no idea what it will be next.

3. The taxi came a half hour early, while I was still packing my carry-on bag, then my Dad called to ask me which flight I was on, needless to say I was distracted. So when I finally got to the kiosk at Southwest check-in, I didn’t have my driver’s license. I had to run across the airport to get a taxi and go home to get the DL then back to airport.

4. After checking in, getting a sandwich, and calling Mom to say Dad owed me for the second taxi, I decided to go make sure my flight was on time. Ok, so the purpose of the trip is to go to the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conference in Cleveland. The lady at the counter said that there was no flight to Cleveland at 6pm, but there was one to Columbus, Ohio. After verifying that yes I was on the flight to Columbus I called Mom back to mapquest how far away the two cities were, 2 hours. Not bad, I’ll just get a rental car and drive. Now don’t ask me why I booked it to Columbus, because I did it back in June, I have no idea, like I said... bizarre day.

5. So I called the hotel to tell them that I was going to be late, I find out I don’t even have a reservation at the hotel I thought I did. So I called Expedia to find out what happened, sure enough I am booked at Days Inn Cleveland Airport and not Days Inn Cleveland Downtown. This took 20 minutes, it’s a good thing the flight was delayed. I got her to cancel the wrong reservation, but she was unable to book the correct reservation, so I would have to do it… all… by… my… self.

6. Then I called to cancel my car rental in Cleveland and it took him 20 minutes. I was not having a good day with CS reps today. Plus he couldn’t book me a car in Columbus. (This is the point where you roll your eyes in disbelief!)

7. So I called my Mother back and in no time she had a hotel for me in Columbus for the night and was going to get me one for Cleveland, but I had to get on the plane. Why can’t CS reps be more like my helpful Mom.

So here I am on the plane trying to think of all the things I need to do when it lands. This has just been one bizarre day. I feel like this should be an episode of the Twilight Zone. Hopefully the rest of the trip is better!

8. I finally land in Columbus and get my Mother’s voicemail messages:
a. She got me the hotel I needed in Cleveland! Yippee!!
b. She found me a hotel for the night in Columbus, yeah sleep!
c. I did have to find my own car rental reservation, which ended up being cheaper than my original reservation. It took me 5 minutes, so you ask why even bother with calling the Travelocity when I can do it all online. And mapquest directions from Columbus to Cleveland.

p.s. I’ll add pictures when I finally download them.

Paris

I saw this great picture on Wikipedia of the Seine River in Paris. It reminded me of when I was in Paris with BYU's Ballroom Dance Company. We were driving to the theatre when we got stuck in traffic. When we came upon what was stopping traffic, it was some idiot who wanted to jump off one of the bridges (see picture below). Honestly the bridge was not that far from the river, they could've just let him jump, then catch him later instead of watching him want to jump. One day I'll get to go back. [hint, hint Mom.]

P.S. You can tell how much Corey loves me by his comments and blog post. ;)

Big News

So my brother called me this morning at 8:35am to tell me my Sister-in-law is pregnant, I get to be an Aunt again.

Now follow the conversation:
Me: So when is the baby due?
Corey (my brother): in May.
Me: What!?! What is that, like nine months?
Corey: No, seven.....and a half.
Me: So when can we find out if it is a girl or boy.
Corey: At 10 weeks

My true thought is = Why are they telling me now? This baby is not even going to be here for a long time. I can't even go shopping until after we know it is a boy or girl. Good gracious! I can't even come up with dorky/bizarre names for the baby until I know it is a boy or girl!

When Sara was pregnant with Caimon we came up with bizarre names to call him until Corey and Sara decided to tell us what name they had came up with. So I called Caimon, Baz. I looked it up, it means "dangerous spear" in Gaelic. So now I need to go look up more bizarre names, but I can't narrow it down for another few weeks. Dorks!

wheat demo

Sorry I didn't take pictures. I looked funny in my apron and cooking at the chapel. I got to do a demo on wheat since I am the ward emergency preparedness person. Basically all I did was to tell everyone how to do the family waffle recipe.

1 Cup Wheat
2 Cups Milk
Blend wheat and milk for 5 minutes

3 Tablespoons honey or sugar
2 eggs
½ square butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
Dash salt
1 cup white flour
Blend the rest of the ingredients in with the wheat and milk mixture, gradually adding ¼ cup of flour at a time.

Midnight Sun

Since I love reading Stephenie Meyer books, I thought I would mention Stephenie's post about Midnight Sun on her website. It's a bummer she is not going to finish Edward's perspective, it's only 264 pages so far. The first chapter has been up on her website for a while. (I should mention her brother Seth does a great job being the webmaster!)

Vice President

I have been emailing back and forth with one of my freshman roommates, Emily, about the election. Emily is really into politics, it is always fun to talk about it with her. So I had emailed her about McCain's VP selection speculation and Emily said it was going to be the Alaskan Governor. My first thought is, "who is that"? So I was completely shocked when McCain announced Sarah Palin the Alaskan Governor, but Emily was right, she is always right!

So I got to go to a Republican rally a couple of weeks ago where Mitt Romney spoke. Local politicians also spoke. I was disappointed that the locals didn't give reasons why I should vote for them besides being a Republican. I believe in voting for the person and not the party, so I wish they would have said why they were running for office.

Mom's Birthday # ?

It's my Mom's Birthday! If you ask her she will tell you she is 29 years old.

(at my Master's graduation at BYU in 2006, yes I am 4 inches taller than my Mother)

Gma's Mission Journal

So Aunt Sally typed up Grandma Jensen's mission journal. I stayed up Saturday night (yes, my date cancelled on me, but he had a good excuse) to read it. I was laughing, crying, etc, ... especially shocked at how many mission rules Grandma would have broken if she would have served now instead of in the 1940's. There is no way Grandma and Grandpa would have fallen in love nowdays!
(This is Grandpa and Grandma Jensen at the Cardston Temple, I think it is their wedding day, June 1947?)

sewing

I went to the Enrichment sewing class today. I made myself a apron to use when cooking! Yippee! I was so excited. I only did this because my Grandma Riding had a serious apron collection and when she died I never got any of them, but I am the 4th granddaughter on the Riding side. So now I am starting my own collection.

Grandma's letter

So recently, my Uncle Phil recieved an old letter from my Grandma Jensen to her family. Maybe I should back up. My Grandpa served in the Eastern Canada mission when Pearl Harbor happened. When he went back after WW2 for a vacation guess who was there...yep, Grandma was serving in the same mission. So my Grandma had to write home and tell her parents she was engaged. By the way, Grandpa was from Monticello, Utah and Grandma was from Sterling, Alberta. The letter that is my favorite is the one Grandma sent to her family after she recieved a letter from her family annoucing she was engaged. She was using words and terms that came straight out of Mayberry.

  • "He's really an ideal fellow, Mother, just the kind of a fellow you'd want me to marry."
  • "Quinn said his mother always made them help with the housework so he'll make somebody a lovely wife." Which is true, Grandpa did a lot of housework.
  • "He's such a swell fellow."
  • "Honestly, he's the grandest person."
  • "That would surely be swell."

I can't believe that people really did talk like that. Grandma Jensen died of cancer in January 1980. The letter sounds just like her only younger.

Brock

(Brock and new baby Drew)
So it turns out my cousin Kristin's husband Brock has a blog about the Utah Jazz. And now they are going to be on the radio commenting on the Jazz. Go Brock!

The Day After the Fire

This is the trailer that the neighbor lives in.

Yes, that is old cars and tractors, etc. A true Redneck joke.

This is the part of the street that we would light fireworks when I was a kid. We never set fire to the neighbor's property. We heard that it was teenagers that started the fires.

If you look behind the 3 trees, that is the diesel barrel that they were trying to prevent from exploding. Thank you firemen.

When the horizontal tree fell, all the ash and sparks almost landed on our house.

And yes the neighborhood still smells like smoke. It's really nasty.

The Fire

I had fallen asleep after all the days activities and my Mom wakes me up about 10:30pm and says there is a fire across the street. So I took some pictures.

This is the side of the main fire truck.

It was much closer than the picture shows. The police said the horses ran away in time to not to get burned.

Yes, the whole neighborhood was out on the corner until the police moved us back, then told us to get inside because weird stuff was burning. Then they told us there was a tank full of diesel fuel.

And yes, it was that smokey! The bear did not show up. LOL

Current Updates

Ok, it's been a while since I posted so I will just give an update:
  • Travis is doing good and at home. Look at what Brit wrote on their blog.
  • One of my freshman roommates, Kristy Swenson now Moore, got married in May. It was a fun reception and I got to see another roommate Emily Richards and her family. Kristy now has a blog Moore Misadventures. Plus I need to give a shout out to Amy Wray, it was her Birthday yesterday.
  • At work Jenelle, the physical therapist, and I switched offices. So now I have a shorter drive and it is a bigger office.
  • I bought a Piaggio scooter so I could save money. However, after I brought it home it wouldn't start. So the dealer picked it up yesterday, but they haven't found what is wrong yet. I hope it gets fixed soon.
  • My adorable nephew can now say truck, but that applies to all motorized vehicles. Same as animals, everything is a puppy.
  • I was just at the NATA Performing Arts Day. I always love going and meeting with other Athletic Trainers from around the country who also work with dancers and performers.
  • One of the former Courgarettes, Kelsey Nixon, is on the Next Food Network Star. Everyone go to their website and vote for her! Click on Kelsey's name for her blog and click on Food Network to go vote.
  • Battlestar Galactica is on midseason break. Last weeks episode was awesome! The rumor is that the end of season 4 will be shown in 2009, so this is going to be a huge break. Good thing Stargate Atlantis is starting July 11th. I always check Galatica Sitrep for updates.
  • My former mission companion, Angela Robbins, mentioned me in her blog. And I got an email from another mission comp, Kristin Minster, that she got married this week. So Angela and I are the only Americans Sisters from SACTM still single. Everyone was single for a long time, until Heather Van Dyke got married a couple of years ago, now they are dropping like flys. But they have all married good guys, Heather and Bethany both have little girls now. So I am happy for them.
It is finally hot here in Las Vegas. Life is normal. I am going to a great ward that is truly friendly. My calling is Emergency Preparedness person, which I have no experience with, so I hope I can do well.
Everyone have a great day!

Caimon's 1st Birthday

I was in Boise for Caimon's 1st Birthday. On Saturday morning Corey and Sara went to the gym and left me to babysit. He didn't cry at all, we just kept playing. But on Sunday morning when I left to eat breakfast with my parents (who were also in Boise for the birthday) Caimon cried because his Fabulous Aunt Teri left him. Even though I only get to see him every 3 or so months, he knows me! :)

Corey calls Caimon tripod because he does this thing with his head when he tries to stand up. That's because when they took him to the doctor he is in the 10th and 15th percentile of height and weight but his head is in the 90th percentile.

Cougarettes

I was figuring out my facebook page, when I found a couple of Cougarettes. It looks like Kelsey is finally going to be on the Food Network. They better pick her as the Next Food Network Star.

blogging

So my brother complained that I had not written in a while. I told him I was opinionated in February, but not March, so be patient and I will write when I write.

I was actually thinking of reminding everyone that the BSGcast.com season 4 party is in two weeks here in Vegas.

favorite things...

So I decided to list some of my favorite websites.
  • DownEast Basics is a cool clothes store. They just put new stuff on their website. I personally think the designer for them should be on Bravo’s Project Runway.
  • As you know I am a Battlestar Galactica fan. I found a great blog that has great BSG info. http://galacticasitrep.blogspot.com/

More will come...

Grandma Jensen's Birthday

It's Leap Day! Grandma would be 84, or technically 21 years old. My Grandma’s sister died recently. Aunt Hazel was 82 years old, their brother Roy is going to be 90 this year. I can’t believe it has been 28 years since Grandma died of cancer. I was only 5 years old and in Kindergarten at the time. That was a great time; I loved listening to Grandma Jensen’s stories. We lived with them and we were the only ones on the block that had a TV remote, hey it was a big deal in 1979.

photographer

Our neighbor in Provo, Jacob Reni, who now happens to live in Las Vegas, got married in August and used this AMAZING photographer. His wife Wendy was kind enough to let me stay with her when I first moved to Las Vegas. I've had a couple of friends recently get married and engaged and I suggested this guy.

Myrtle Beach, SC

I spent 6 weeks last year in Myrtle Beach, SC with the Radio City Rockettes. I always laugh at the street names Mr. Joe White Ave. Why the Mr.? The street that goes to the Myrtle Beach airport is (Dr. W. LeRoy) Harrelson Blvd. What is up with the parenthesis and the Dr.? I guess it is just the South.

PBS

How does it go? Hi my name is Teri and I’m an addict. I love watching a good PBS documentary. I just saw African American Lives 2, which is about genealogy. Since my Mom is a Family Historian and I spent many hours of my childhood in the Family History Library in Salt Lake (I actually think I learned how to read from microfilm and microfiche) these topics are always interesting to me. If it comes on in your neighborhood you should watch it!

Pres. Monson

I totally forgot to mention that Pres. Monson is now the prophet. Pres. Eyring was moved up to 1st Counselor, and Pres. Uchtdorf is now 2nd Counselor. I’ve heard people say he is the first non-American in the First Presidency, but I don’t think that is true. If I remember correctly President Taylor was either from Canada or England. Elder Willard Richards was from England, I’m sure there are others not from America. I remember when President Hunter became the prophet and everyone said he was the first prophet to be born in the 20th Century. People shouldn’t make such a big deal about Elder Uchtdorf being from Germany. I personally love his talks at General Conference.

Elections

Since I grew up in Utah, during presidential elections everyone assumes Utahns vote for the Republican nominee, we never got the candidates to do any true campaigning through Utah. I moved back to Las Vegas the week of the Nevada caucus. That was definitely fun to be apart of, seeing candidates trying to win my vote.

I must admit though I have been a Mitt Romney supporter since I did work for the Olympic Committee when he was the boss. And he did a great job! Since he is not running anymore I will have to wait for the Democrats to decide who is going to be their nominee before I decide who/whom(?) I will vote for between McCain and Obama/Clinton. This is fun watching who is going to be the nominee between Obama and Clinton since the Democrats convention isn’t until the end of August. This is the first time I remember actually wanting to pay attention to the election process.

p.s. It is interesting to note that even though Romney has dropped out he still has more delegates than Huckabee.

Caimon walking

My brother Corey sent more video of Caimon walking. He's getting cuter. Plus it was Sara's Birthday yesterday!

For some reason he walks best with objects in his hands?

Louise Parker

I need to admit I just barely read the February Ensign issue. When I turned to page 76 and saw Louise Parker's name and painting I was excited. Plus on the back cover is her painting of "The Five Wise Virgins". Louise had emailed me a bio about her for the church, but I didn't understand it, so now that I've seen the Ensign I get it. She and her husband Richard have 3 daughters and still live in Port Elizabeth (Rachel is in the picture).
p.s. it's En-sign and not En-sung.

writers strike is over....

Yippee!!! I don't know when Battlestar Galactica is going to film the last 9 episodes. They better be good since they had enough time to brainstorm. And everyone don't forget the season 4 premiere party in Vegas!

Clemens and McNamee

I must preface this post by saying this is my OPINION, based on facts.

After watching Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee testify before congress today I feel that the news reports do not clarify exactly what McNamee's job description is. He is a Personal Trainer NOT a Certified Athletic Trainer!

According to the American Fitness Professionals and Associates the minimum requirements for a personal trainer are:

  • 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of anatomy and resistance/cardiovascular training.
  • Basic familiarity with resistance training equipment.
  • CPR is not required to take the examination but may be required by employer, or to obtain liability insurance.

One thing to remember is there are many Associations that certify personal trainers, they all have similar requirements; however, personal trainers focus solely on fitness and conditioning, have no national or standardized requirements for education or certification. Also they are not recognized by the AMA as a medical provider. Under all of the associations the job description does not say a personal trainer is qualified to give injections of ANY kind. If an athlete wanted a B12 or flu shot you would send them to a doctor or nurse who is qualified to give shots. Under no circumstances should a personal trainer be giving an athlete or client steroids, HGH, or other types of illegal drugs.

So now I need to write what a Certified Athletic Trainer is. From the National Athletic Trainers Association website Athletic Trainers specialize in the:

  • prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses
  • have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree(however, 70% of all Certified Athletic Trainers have at least a master’s degree, including myself)
  • maintain national certification through the Board of Certification, an organization independent of NATA.

Athletic trainers are licensed or regulated health care professionals in 46 states. Click here to check out NATA’s official statement on steroids and performance enhancing substances.

As a nationally Certified and state Licensed Athletic Trainer I am appalled that someone in Brian McNamee’s position would do something so stupid as to inject professional baseball players with illegal substances. I also believe MLB needs to bring their drug testing standards up to the same level as the International Olympic Committee. I hope the federal investigators prosecute McNamee to the fullest extent of the law just to make an example of him and let current and future personal trainers know that this behavior is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

from Mom

My Mom emailed me this and I laughed out loud!

An older woman gets pulled over for speeding...
Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?

Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding.

Older Woman: Oh, I see.

Officer: Can I see your license please?

Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don't have one.

Officer: Don't have one?

Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.

Officer: I see...Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.

Older Woman: I can't do that.

Officer: Why not?

Older Woman : I stole this car.

Officer: Stole it?

Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.

Officer: You what?

Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see

The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.

Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please! The woman steps out of her vehicle.

Older woman: Is there a problem sir?

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.

Older Woman: Murdered the owner?

Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.

The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?

Older Woman: Yes, here is the registration papers.
The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.

The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.

Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

Don't Mess With Older Women!

Dalldorf's

My good friends, Duane and Karen Dalldorf, who live too far away in Nottingham, England sent me pictures of their kids. They finally had a girl! I met them when I was on mission in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. They have lived in England for a while now and I only get to see them through pictures and emails.

Redneck Utah style

My Dad emailed me the You Must be a Redneck by Jeff Foxworthy about Utahns. Redneck jokes always make me laugh, and these are absolutely true. I can't believe how many of them fit me.

*If your local Dairy Queen is closed from September to May, you live in Utah.
*If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't work there, you live in Utah
*If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you live in Utah
*If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number, you live in Utah
*If 'vacation' means going anywhere south of Salt Lake City for the weekend, you live in Utah
*If you measure distance in hours, you live in Utah
*If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you live in Utah
*If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' and back again in the same day, you live in Utah
*If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both unlocked, you live in Utah
*If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you live in Utah
*If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you live in Utah
*If the speed limit on the highway is 75 mph -- you're going 80, and everyone is still passing you, you live in Utah
*If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you live in Utah
*If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction, you live in Utah
*If you find 10 degrees 'a little chilly' you live in Utah
*If you actually understand these jokes and forward them to all your friends, you live in Utah

I never thought I would be one of those Aunts who brags about how awesome their nephew is, but here I am bragging. Caimon is 10 months and walking... slowly. Watch the video of the cutie. My brother emailed this to me yesterday.

Today is a sad day. President Hinckley's funeral was today in Salt Lake. They were able to broadcast it here in Las Vegas. I will miss him. However, I am sure he is glad to be back with Sister Hinckley.

Welcome

This is my first blog. I thought I would join the sheep since many friends and family have blogs. Once I get the hang of this I will add pictures, links, etc.

Have a great day!
