more jewelery

So I have been making more jewelery and I changed the red necklace/bracelet.

And I made a new red necklace with beads my Mom already had.

I made this really long pearl necklace, kinda 1920's style

I did some bracelets too. The top one looks kinda like the ones I made for Sara and Brylee for Christmas. The middle one is from the leftover pearls from the above necklace and the bottom one is of leftover blue and green beads in my Mom's collection.

I made this one for Aunt Sally for Christmas. I found the blue and white beads at a bead show. What does everyone think of this one?

I copied this necklace from the DownEast Basics website and made the left earings and bracelet from a book. The other two earings I got a little overboard trying to learn how to make earings

This one I made for my friend Angela's birthday. There are four strands of sead beads, I would call this gun metal gray.

I saw the butterfly and thought it was cute.

cold

This has been my best friend for the last couple of days. I haven't been sick in four years, which was the last time I lived in Utah. I have a sore throat, runny nose, cough, sneeze, and now constant headache. It's just a cold, but I want to thank the person who invented lotion on tissue, otherwise my nose would be X100 worse than it is. I am currently on my third box, but that could change within the hour.

another book

I forgot I read this book over Christmas. Chris Stewart wrote the Great and Terrible series which was really good, so I figured I would check this out. They decide that there are seven important events in US history. The first is Christopher Columbus landing in the Caribbean. They get into a little history that the Chinese were 100 years ahead of Europe in ships and sea warfare, but then they had an Emperor that made them go backwards. I liked it and if you like American history and learning from books you will like it too.

Cousin Lisa

I was doing good about exercising until Thanksgiving. During the summer I would go on the Lake Bonneville Shoreline Trail, which leads up to the Y mountain trail. It has a great view of the valley.
When the weather got cold I quit. The whole reason for moving to Las Vegas and California was to be in warmer weather. I really hate the cold. But I really liked running in my parents neighborhood and on the trail. So I bought some cold weather clothes and started back running through the neighborhood. I check the weather before I head out and only go out if it is above 30 degrees. And on some days when I am ambitious I get up early to the BYU indoor track.
Over Christmas I saw my cousin Lisa and she has been diligent about exercising every morning and looks good. So thanks Lis for the good example!

Percy Jackson

For Christmas my Mom gave us the first Percy Jackson book. I read it and had to read the next. Even though this is suppose to be a kids book, it's just like HP where everyone would like it. I plan on reading the rest of the series. So, if you like adventure and want a refresher on Greek mythology go check it out!

C & B

I guess I have become one of "those" Aunts because I love to brag about how adorable my niece and nephew are. I took some video of the cuties while they were here for the holidays.

There is a video on my facebook page of Caimon singing along with the Mamma Mia dvd intro when we were on vacation. While he was here I asked him what video he wanted to watch and he said of course Mamma Mia. So this is of him dancing along with the dvd, but as soon as the music stops so does he.

This is just a video of how cute Brylee's chubby cheeks and slowly growing hair, she also is starting to get teeth, so she drools ALOT!

Texas Tech

Has anyone paid attention to the controversy at Texas Tech regarding the football coach and the player? So who is caught in the middle, my former boss Steve Pincock. When I was a freshman at Snow College, Steve was the Head Athletic Trainer while I was a student athletic trainer. After I transfered to BYU, the semester I was assigned to football I worked with Steve again. As an Athletic Trainer I would not want to be caught in the middle of this craziness. Hopefully, Steve and his family are safe.

Fiesta Bowl

I really didn't care whether TCU or BSU won, but it was fun watching the game. Since my brother lives in the Boise area, I taught Caimon to be a BSU fan.
