last move...at least for two years

I'm writing this from the Sea-Tac airport while I am waiting for my final flight of the day. Before I left I moved all my stuff into Dave's flat, which would technically be "our" flat. In the last ten years I have moved from Provo to
Brownsville, TX to
Provo to
Sandy, UT to
West Jordan, UT back to
Provo and back to
West Jordan to
Santa Barbara, CA to
Las Vegas, NV to
Tour with the Rockettes (South Carolina and Arizona) back to
Las Vegas to
another neighborhood in Las Vegas to
Santa Maria, CA back to
Provo while I wait for my student visa to
Gorway dorms to
Village dorms to
house sitting for a professor to
the house on Charlotte Street (in Walsall, England) to
Our First flat together (Dave helped me with the last three).
The only boys I've ever had as roommates were my brother, dad, and grandpa. So this will be an adjustment! We do have 2 bedrooms, come visit anytime! We will only be here until I graduate, which should be 2013, then we are heading back to Utah. So come visit while you can! :)

basketball

I was never really a BYU basketball fan when I was at BYU. I've been to games just to hang out with friends. Most of the time I was at the Marriott Center was for dance concerts or ballroom competitions, so I know my way around the back stage/locker room/training room area. Well, this year is a big deal because of Jimmer and Davies. A friend posted a link to the "Teach me how to Jimmer" video and I thought it was funny! Here is the link for the video on You Tube it is a must watch! Don't be surprised if you see me in a Teach Me How To Jimmer T-shirt.

It's National Athletic Training Month again!

Last year at this time I was covering for my friend Becky at American Fork High School while she had surgery. Now I am in England working on my PhD (and getting married next month). Since England does not officially recognize Athletic Training as a medical profession it is hard to explain to people what it is. The closest thing to an Athletic Trainer is BASRaT. They are the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers. I spoke at their conference last November and met some fun people, but it is a small group of people and not highly publicized.
Right now I am finishing my literature review on ballroom dance injuries. There is only 22 published articles about the subject, unfortunately five of them are in German and Italian. So I am writing about the 17 English articles. So far I am at 16 pages with over 7,000 words, but that could change with the next edit. After this I get to write up about the two surveys I have done and do a literature review on articles using ballroom dancing to solve geriatric conditions. This one I don't mind doing since my Grandpa Jensen died of Parkinson's disease and current research is using the tango to help Parkinson's patients with keeping their motor skills.
Gotta go finish writing!
