For Christmas my Mom gave us the first Percy Jackson book. I read it and had to read the next. Even though this is suppose to be a kids book, it's just like HP where everyone would like it. I plan on reading the rest of the series. So, if you like adventure and want a refresher on Greek mythology go check it out!

Some of the best books out there these days are written for children or young adults (look at the Twilight series, Harry Potter, anything by Anne McCaffrey, Philip Pullman, etc).
This movie goes on release in the UK next week, so am debating whether to go see it then read the book, or read the book then go see it...
