Las Vegas got snow

So you probably heard it snowed here in Vegas last week. I took pictures of the morning after.

Some neighbor kids tried to make a snowman.

My scooter, yes I did drive it the day after the snow and it was freezing!

Thanksgiving

I was up in Boise for Thanksgiving. Since my Sister-in-law was sick from the pregnancy and my brother was correcting papers I got to play with Caimon. We were mostly stuck in the house because it is so cold, but Friday night we went to Walmart. The whole idea was to wear Caimon out so he would go to sleep quickly. So we played with everything, I let him touch everything, etc. We got to the juice aisle and the addict that he is started yelling ELMO, ELMO, ELMO!!! Apparently there was a juice box with Elmo's picture on it and Caimon went crazy. He would not let me leave until we bought it. Since I am Awesome Aunt Teri I bought it and he had to drink it asap. I also taught him the word chill. He loves watching Elmo on the computer, so when I don't get Corey and Sara's computer up fast enough he starts having a tantrum. It's cute, but I tried to get him to be patient.

Computers

I have been disconnected from my computer/internet/etc for almost a week. I have a 2003 Dell Inspirion 1100 laptop, which makes it ancient in computer ages. It is on it's last leg. The power cord frayed, and since my computer is old, Dell is the only company I can order my part from.
My Mom reminded me that when I lived in South Africa, 12 years ago, it would take a minimum of 3 weeks to get a letter from the States. So when did I become so ADD and addicted to instant knowledge?
