Current Updates

Ok, it's been a while since I posted so I will just give an update:
  • Travis is doing good and at home. Look at what Brit wrote on their blog.
  • One of my freshman roommates, Kristy Swenson now Moore, got married in May. It was a fun reception and I got to see another roommate Emily Richards and her family. Kristy now has a blog Moore Misadventures. Plus I need to give a shout out to Amy Wray, it was her Birthday yesterday.
  • At work Jenelle, the physical therapist, and I switched offices. So now I have a shorter drive and it is a bigger office.
  • I bought a Piaggio scooter so I could save money. However, after I brought it home it wouldn't start. So the dealer picked it up yesterday, but they haven't found what is wrong yet. I hope it gets fixed soon.
  • My adorable nephew can now say truck, but that applies to all motorized vehicles. Same as animals, everything is a puppy.
  • I was just at the NATA Performing Arts Day. I always love going and meeting with other Athletic Trainers from around the country who also work with dancers and performers.
  • One of the former Courgarettes, Kelsey Nixon, is on the Next Food Network Star. Everyone go to their website and vote for her! Click on Kelsey's name for her blog and click on Food Network to go vote.
  • Battlestar Galactica is on midseason break. Last weeks episode was awesome! The rumor is that the end of season 4 will be shown in 2009, so this is going to be a huge break. Good thing Stargate Atlantis is starting July 11th. I always check Galatica Sitrep for updates.
  • My former mission companion, Angela Robbins, mentioned me in her blog. And I got an email from another mission comp, Kristin Minster, that she got married this week. So Angela and I are the only Americans Sisters from SACTM still single. Everyone was single for a long time, until Heather Van Dyke got married a couple of years ago, now they are dropping like flys. But they have all married good guys, Heather and Bethany both have little girls now. So I am happy for them.
It is finally hot here in Las Vegas. Life is normal. I am going to a great ward that is truly friendly. My calling is Emergency Preparedness person, which I have no experience with, so I hope I can do well.
Everyone have a great day!
